Test & X-ray Results

In general if we have ordered blood tests or X-rays we will ask you to make a further appointment to discuss the results so there is no need to telephone. Occasionally however we may suggest you ring in. In this case please wait at least a week. Then call the surgery after 11am. In the interest of confidentiality you must do this in person; we cannot give results to anyone else.

The receptionist cannot discuss results but will simply pass on a message from the doctor as to whether the test is normal or if he or she needs to discuss it with you.
